Trex IPTV Review 2026: Features, Pricing and Who It’s For
What Trex IPTV includes, what it costs, where it shines and where it may not suit you, written without star ratings or invented scores.

Most Trex IPTV reviews online are written by people selling it, and many of them hand out perfect scores, invented user counts and badges that mean nothing. We sell it too, so we will not pretend to be neutral. What we can do is be honest: describe what you get, what it costs, where it works well and who should probably look elsewhere. No stars, no scores, no made-up numbers.
What Trex IPTV is
Trex IPTV, also called Trex TV, is an internet TV service. Instead of a satellite dish or a cable box, the channels reach your screen through your home internet connection and an IPTV player app. You install the app on a device you already own, add your login, and the channel list and TV guide appear.
We are an independent, authorized reseller of Trex TV, not its owner. That matters for this review: we can tell you how the service behaves for our customers and how we support it, but we do not control the service itself.
What you get
Every plan includes the same full package:
- 33,000+ live TV channels;
- 160,000+ movies and series on demand;
- all sports channels and live motorsport;
- pay-per-view (PPV) events;
- 4K and Full HD quality;
- a TV guide (EPG) and catch-up on supported channels;
- automatic updates to channels and the library;
- support for all common devices;
- 24/7 customer support.
Those are the only figures we publish, because they are the only ones we can stand behind. If you see other sites quoting 40,000 or 50,000 channels for the same service, treat those numbers with caution.
What it costs
There is a free trial and three paid plans: 3 Months for $35 ($11.67 a month), 6 Months for $50 ($8.33 a month) or 12 Months for $69.99 ($5.83 a month). Prices are in US dollars, so customers in the UK, Canada, Australia and Germany see the amount converted by their card provider. There is no cheaper “basic” tier with missing features: the trial and every paid plan include exactly the same things. You can see the full breakdown on our Trex IPTV subscription page.
Where Trex IPTV works well
Big, varied line-ups for mixed households
The strength of a service this size is breadth. A household where one person wants sport, another wants films and the kids want cartoons can share one subscription. Multilingual families also benefit from the international categories.
Sport and motorsport fans
Live sport and motorsport are included, along with pay-per-view events. For fans who follow events in other time zones, catch-up on supported channels is just as useful as the live stream.
People who already own the hardware
You do not need a new box. A smart TV, a Fire TV Stick, an Android TV box, a phone or a computer will do. That makes it easy to try without spending money on equipment.
Value over a full year
At $5.83 a month on the 12 Months plan (or $11.67 a month on 3 Months), it costs far less than many traditional TV packages, and every feature is included rather than sold as an add-on.
Where it may not suit you
If your internet is weak or unstable
IPTV depends on your connection. If your broadband drops out regularly or your Wi-Fi barely reaches the TV, you will see buffering, whichever service you choose. Test during the free trial, in the evening, before you commit. Our buffering guide helps, but it cannot fix a connection that is simply too slow.
If one specific channel is a must-have
Channel line-ups can change over time. If a single channel is the only reason you would subscribe, ask us about it first and check it during the trial. We would rather you know before paying than be disappointed afterwards.
If you want a box that “just works” with no setup
Setup takes a few minutes on most devices, and we help you on WhatsApp, but it does involve installing an app and entering a login. If you want a fully managed box installed by an engineer, a traditional TV provider may suit you better.
If you only watch occasionally
The paid option today is a full year. If you only watch a couple of times a month, try the free trial first and see how often you actually use it.
Setup and day-to-day use
In practice, most of our customers are watching within a few minutes of receiving their login. On a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box, it is a matter of installing a player app from the store and typing the login once. Smart TVs vary more by model and age, which is why we ask for the model number before recommending an app.
Day to day, the experience depends heavily on the player app you choose: the look of the TV guide, how favourites work and how fast channels change all come from the app rather than the service. If one app does not suit you, another may feel completely different, and switching costs nothing. Catch-up and the TV guide are where most people notice the difference from free-to-air TV; once you have scrolled back to watch something you missed, it is hard to go without.
How Trex IPTV compares with traditional TV
| Trex IPTV | Traditional cable or satellite | |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment | Your own TV, stick, phone or computer | Rented box, sometimes a dish |
| Installation | An app, a few minutes | Often an engineer visit |
| Pricing | One plan with every feature | Tiers and add-ons |
| Watching away from the main TV | Any device with the app | Usually limited |
| Depends on | Your internet connection | The provider’s network or dish |
Buying from a reseller: what to look for
Whoever you buy from, a few checks protect you:
- Can you test before paying? A free trial on your own device is the best evidence there is.
- Is the price clear? Look for the total, not just a monthly figure, and no crossed-out “was” prices.
- Can you reach a real person? Ask a question before buying and see how they answer.
- Are they honest about who they are? Be wary of anyone claiming to be the “official” store without proof.
Trex IPTV review: our verdict, without a score
Trex IPTV suits households that watch a lot of TV across different categories, own at least one capable device and have a reasonably steady internet connection. It is less suited to people with unreliable internet or very specific must-have channels. The fairest way to decide is the one we recommend to everyone: take the free trial, watch at your usual times, and only then choose a plan.
